OBITUARIES

DARNELL JACKSON, 54, of Memphis, passed away October 11, 2007 at Methodist University Hospital. Visitation, Friday, October 19 from 4-6:30 p.m. at N.J. Ford and Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services, Saturday, October 20 at 11 a.m. at New Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, 4920 Horn Lake Road. Burial in New Park Cemetery. He leaves three daughters, Dytalian Jackson, Danyale Jackson and Danquilla Jackson; a son, Donyale Jackson; father, Willie Jackson; four brothers, Joe Lee Jackson, Terry Jackson, all of Memphis, Farris Townsel of Lancaster, California and James Jackson of Detroit, Michigan; eight sisters, Dorothy Echols, Pauline Johnson, Carolyn Jackson, Margaret Jackson, Mamie Jackson, all of Memphis, Precious Williams of Chicago, Carolyn Johnson and Diane Townsel, both of Boston, Massachusetts; five grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
