Deborah Jefferson Edwards'  1967

Georgia, Powder Springs - DEBORAH J. EDWARDS, 56, died Monday, August 8, 2005. Ms. Edwards was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School in Memphis. She attended Fisk University in Nashville, TN, graduate of Our Lady of the Lake College in San Antonio, TX, and was a honors graduate of National Lewis University in Atlanta, GA. She was the regional personnel director for the south region for Targets Department Stores. She was a member of the Georgia Association of Mortgage Brokers and the owner of Crystal Mortgage Company. Survivors include her daughters, Stacii Jae Johnson of Los Angeles, CA, Crystal Edwards of Powder Springs, GA; her mother, Mrs. Mabel Bynum Burton of Memphis; brothers, Terrance Jefferson of Las Vegas, NV, William Jefferson Jr. of Las Vegas, NV, Sheldon Jefferson of Nevada; sisters, Franzetta Sharkey of Pasadena, CA, Cherryl Hardy of Los Angeles, CA, Cassandra Jefferson of Cleveland, OH, and Donnetta Jefferson of Los Angeles, CA, her beloved companion, Cody, her daughter's cocker spaniel. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2005 at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Sidney Gaines officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park.
