EDDIE "Lil' Rip" RIVERS, 61, retired respiratory therapist at the Memphis Veterans Medical Center, died Wednesday, October 26, 2005. He was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, a Catholic Mason and an Eastern Star. Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, October 30 at N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home. Services will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, October 21 at N.J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home. Burial in Memphis Memory Gardens. He leaves his wife Ruth Ann Rivers; a daughter Saundra "China Doll" Moore of Memphis; four grandchildren; a great -grandchild; and his father Robert J. Rivers Sr. of Memphis.
