LANELL RANKINS DORSEY, 62, of Memphis, former special education teacher
for Memphis City Schools, former cosmetology instructor, and a graduate
of Booker T. Washington High School, died January 24, 2007 at Saint
Francis Hospital. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Monday, January 29 at
N. J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 12 p.m.
Tuesday, January 30 at Holy Temple Ministries, 1228 E. Dempster. Burial
will be in Memphis Memory Gardens. She leaves her husband, James Dorsey
of Memphis; a son, Keith "Smooth" Rankins of Memphis; two sisters,
Patricia (Ronald) Lathon and Ivory (Robert) Oliver, Jr., both of
Memphis; a brother, Herman (Elizabeth) Williams of Los Angeles, CA; and
