GEORGE H. ROBERTSON,
JR., 78, of Memphis, formerly of Los Angeles, CA, husband of
Ernestine Robertson, retired LPN, U.S. Army veteran, alumnus of
Booker T. Washington High School, died on Friday, May 11, at
Methodist Healthcare University. Visitation will be held Sunday, May
20, from 2-4 p.m. at Harrison's Funeral Home Chapel, 2647 Carnes
Ave. He will lie in state on Monday, May 21, from 11-11:55 a.m. at
Eternal Peace Missionary Baptist Church, 1251 So. Willett, where he
served as Associate Minister with funeral ceremony at 12 Noon.
Interment to follow with military honors at2 p.m. Pastor Maurice
Hunt officiating. He leaves to cherish his memory one son, George H.
Robertson III of California; one brother, Bobbie Robinson of Country
Club, IL; two sisters, Mary Guy of Byhalia, MS and Georgia Powell of
Memphis, TN; and other relatives and friends. Harrison's Funeral
