MARCUS FOSTER, 33, of
Memphis, passed away Friday, January 26, 2007 at Baptist Memorial
Hospital-Memphis. He was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High
School and a business owner. He will be missed greatly by his
mother, Jackie Henderson; stepfather, Thomas Henderson; father, Clay
Townsel; daughter, Marlexia Foster; son, Marcus Foster II; brother,
Thomas Henderson, Jr.; stepsister, Sherwanda Henderson; and fiancé'
Cheryl Hayes. He also leaves to cherish his memory his grandparents,
Mamie and LeVoe Norris; great-grandmother, Helen (Joe) Coleman; two
uncles, Ivie Baker III (Angela) and Mario Baker, Sr. (Darlinia); two
aunts, Angela Baker and Sharon Baker; a special aunt, Carolyn Love
and a host of cousins, great-aunts and uncles, other relatives and
friends. He led a colorful life as a son, father, brother, nephew,
cousin, and dear friend to all those who loved him dearly.
Visitation will be held at N. J. Ford & Sons from 3-6:30 p.m.,
Friday, February 2. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday,
February 3 at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church, 2237 S. Parkway
East. Burial in New Park Cemetery on Horn Lake Rd. N. J. Ford & Sons
