ROSA MAE SAULSBERRY, 81, of Memphis, resident of Cordova Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, retired cafeteria worker for Memphis City Schools, and a 1941 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, died Sunday, March 5, 2006 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. Family hour will be from 4-5 p.m. Friday, March 10 at Harrison's Funeral Home Chapel, 2647 Carnes Avenue. In state, 10-10:55 a.m. Saturday, March 11 at Progressive Baptist Church, 394 Vance Avenue, where she was a member. Funeral Ceremony at 11 a.m. with Pastor James Collins, officiating. Interment will be in New Park Cemetery, 4536 Horn Lake Road. She leaves to cherish her memory, four sons, Anderson Saulsberry, Jr., Maurice Saulsberry, Jerome Saulsberry and Gerald Saulsberry; a daughter, Rose Marie Hill, and a sister, Dorothy Miller, all of Memphis; a brother, Walter Boykin of Detroit, MI, nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
