STURLA MAE KNOX, 78, of Memphis, a graduate of Booker T. Washington,
passed away July 8, 2007. Visitation will be from 4-6:30 p.m. Friday,
July 13 at N. J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1
p.m. Saturday, July 14 at Temple of Deliverance Church of God In Christ.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Poplar. She leaves four daughters, Clara
Jean Labarre and Rose Mary Knox, both of Kalamazoo, MI, Althea Knox of
Memphis and Sharon Hillman (Clarence) of Decatur, GA; one son, George
Knox II of Memphis; one sister, Bettie Jo Peaks (Curtis) of Columbus,
OH; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one
great-great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and
