WILLIE “Ba June” BOWEN, JR., 56, passed away
December 11, 2007 at his residence. Visitation from 5-8 p.m. Friday,
December 14 at M. J. Edwards and Sons Funeral Home, Airways Chapel.
Services, Saturday, December 15 at 12 noon at the funeral home. Burial
will be in Galilee Memorial Gardens. Willie was a graduate of Booker T.
Washington High School class of 1969, a former employee of Shelby County
Government and Southland Greyhound Park. Willie leaves to cherish his
memory one son, Marcus Bowen; one daughter, Larcenia Martin of Memphis;
one brother, Billy J. Walker, Sr. of Memphis; two sisters, Yvonne B.
Martin of Memphis and Katrina B. Fayne of Madison, MS. He also leaves a
host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to cherish
